Australia’s Faine Mesquita was one of amateur #MMA’s breakout stars at the 2022 IMMAF World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, winning senior flyweight gold with a TKO finish over Spain’s Raquel González García.

The Australian athlete is set to graduate from amateur mixed martial arts and compete in professional ranks in 2023.
