UFC fighter Amanda Ribas is one of the biggest MMA success stories to come out of IMMAF and Pan America. The Brazilian was propelled onto the international stage as an amateur in 2014 when she competed at the first-ever IMMAF World Championships, winning gold in the female flyweight division.

Following her success as an IMMAF world champion, Ribas rose through the ranks and penned a professional MMA contract with the UFC in 2017.
