May 16, 2012 – International event M-1 Challenge 32 took place in Moscow. In the main event of the evening was fighting American Kenny Garner, interim M-1 heavyweight champion. He already won in eight-man M-1 Challenge America tournament and got his hand raised in the fight against Pat Bennett and Maxim Grishin.

Kenny always stood out as the tough fighter with dynamite in both hands, high-level stamina and very unorthodox style. He had the plans to fight against Alexander Emelianenko, but eventually his opponent was the man who made the huge sensation in Russian MMA world and became the superstar overnight.

Magomed Malikov got two big knockout victories against Alexey Oleinik and Alexander Emelianenko and became the true elite fighter of Russian heavyweight division. He was on his way to the top, so the fight against Kenny should help Magomed to solidify his elite status even more. Malikov already had the title of regional amateur MMA champion and Fight Star champion, so he was ready to do whatever it takes to add M-1 Challenge title to his collection.
