This was pure attritional warfare, with Delboni as the relentless aggressor, marching forward and throwing punches in bunches. VanZandt tried to use her kicks to create space, but Delboni’s pressure and volume were overwhelming. She repeatedly stuffed VanZandt’s takedowns and punished her against the cage. VanZandt showed incredible toughness, but Delboni’s pace never faded, and after three hard-fought rounds, she earned a clear unanimous decision, avenged her recent controversial loss, and punched her ticket to a championship rematch.
