Growing up in a broken family was a tough experience for a young Nieky Holzken. The Dutch kickboxing sensation was not a model student at school, and studying was not high on his list of concerns. Holzken was greatly affected by the divorce of his parents at a young age, but with the support and love of his grandmother, he was given the mental strength and fortitude to push through the pain and excel as a burgeoning martial artist. Now, with his sights set on the biggest prize of his career, “The Natural” will look to make his grandmother proud as he battles Regian Eersel once again for the ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Title at ONE: DAWN OF VALOR in Jakarta.
