After making a statement in his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Island 1 on July 16, 2020, UFC welterweight Khamzat Chimaev competed just 10 days later when he faced Rhys McKee and earned his second career finish via knockout. Not only did both bouts earn Performance of the Night honors, but Chimaev now holds the UFC record for quickest turnaround between fights.
