Alexander “Storm” Shlemenko is one the most famous, entertaining and highly regarded fighters in history of Russian MMA. You already had a chance to watch two epic fights between him and Vyacheslav Vasilevsky or one-punch knockout to the liver in the rematch against Brandon “Bull” Halsey.

But today we are going to leave M-1 for a while and visit one of Bodog Fights events that had very impressive fightcards back in 2007-2008. Back then Alexander was already well-known fighter who was ready to fight against anyone and make 100% efforts on his way to victory. That’s why he got an invitation to the event and we can say that he didn’t left the fans disappointed.

So, in the first fight at the event in August 2007 in Vancouver Alexander took on American opponent named Scott Henze who had 19 victories and 8 defeats as a pro and was the master of submission.

In the second fight that took place in Moscow in November 2007 Alexander fought against Diego Visotsky from Argentina. Besides the family name that sound very familiar for all Russians, Diego had quite interesting nickname El Toro (The Bull). So, Alexander was lucky enough to face more that one “Bull” during his MMA career.
