M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Shavkat Rakhmonov (11-0) captured the belt at M-1 Challenge 101 on his home turf in Almaty Kazakhstan earlier this year. Rakhmonov has finished all 11 opponents in his career, so he never went the full fight distance. Nomad now has six knockouts and five submissions in his record.

After that Tiago lost another close fight by split decision and brutally TKOโd a Chinese fighter. Varejao has an 82% finish rate and he will be ready to take on the champion in Kazakhstan on June 28th in the main event of M-1 Challenge 102.
