A hugely entertaining flyweight affair between Saiful Merican and Bernard Soriano transpired at ONE: THRONES OF TIGERS in Kuala Lumpur. Toward the end of the first stanza, Soriano took the back of his Malaysian rival and looked to have a rear-naked choke locked in, only for Merican to squirm out and unleash some massive shots from top position. Soriano looked to have survived the onslaught, but the Filipino star was not able to answer the bell for the second round, giving Merican an incredible comeback win over his toughest challenger yet.
