Oleg Taktarov fought his last professional fight on April 11, 2008 in USA at YAMMA event where were invited the fighters like Ricco Rodriguez, Butterbean, Alexey Oleynik, Travis Wiuff and Chris Tachsherer. Unfortunately, this event has been the only one organized by YAMMA promotion.

”Russian Bear” took on another legendary athlete. Mark ”The Smashing Machine” Kerr has been the best heavyweight of the world and had impressive winning streak for a few years. Of course, he was far from his best shape in 2008, but he was younger than Oleg, was equally experienced and very dangerous against anyone.
