Regian Eersel was destined for a career in sports, receiving his first opportunity to showcase his skills on a global stage when he was chosen to represent The Netherlands in rugby during his youth. But his parents understood the value of education, and pulled Eersel from the team when his grades starting falling. That moment turned Eersel’s life around, as he soon discovered martial arts soon and learned the value of discipline. Inspired by the legends of the game, Eersel picked up Muay Thai, and has gone on to win several international accolades in both Muay Thai and kickboxing. Now, he looks to capture the greatest prize of his career when he takes on Dutch kickboxing legend Nieky Holzken for the ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Title at ONE: ENTER THE DRAGON.
