Though he is currently in the midst of an extended layoff, ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon Vera remains one of the very best, and most popular, martial artists on the ONE Championship roster. Since coming to ONE in 2014, Vera has rattled off three-straight victories, winning his World Title belt against Chinese Taipei veteran Paul Cheng and, most recently, defending it against Japanese warrior Hideki Sekine. What the future holds for Vera remains uncertain, but do not rule out a return to action sometime in 2018.
