ONE Filipino superstar Eduard Folayang is on the comeback trail after dropping his ONE Lightweight World Title to Martin Nguyen in late 2017, defeating Russian warrior Kharun Atlangeriev in May and entering another pivotal bout against Sambo World Champion Aziz Pahrudinov at ONE: REIGN OF KINGS. If Folayang can emerge victorious, he may be able to make a case for a World Championship rematch against Nguyen, who is also competing on the stacked card in Manila.
