Australian Reece McLaren faced top bantamweight Muin Gafurov at ONE: GLOBAL RIVALS in Manila. “Lightning” overwhelmed “Tajik” with his world-class grappling ability from the opening bell, and spent the majority of the contest controlling the action on the ground. Not only did McLaren earn the unanimous decision victory, but he became the first man to defeat Gafurov.
