Hiroki Akimoto lived up to the hype when he made his long-awaited debut at ONE: HERO’S ASCENT. The highly-touted karate specialist scored multiple knockdowns across three rounds, slicing through Josh Tonna’s defense with slick combinations and stinging kicks to the leg and body. Though Tonna survived the full three rounds, there was no doubt Akimoto had earned the victory, lifting his spotless kickboxing record to 20-0.
