Long before Ken Hasegawa was a ONE World Title contender, his professional career came close to an early end. The DEEP Openweight World Champion was making a name for himself in Japan’s martial arts scene, but a career-threatening back injury put him out of the sport for an extended period of time. After a long road to recovery, the Japanese juggernaut blazed a trail back to the cage, culminating in a spirited ONE Middleweight World Title challenge against Aung La N Sang. Hasegawa will look to redeem himself when he faces his Myanmar rival once again at ONE: A NEW ERA in Tokyo.
