Growing up in Borneo, Indonesia, Eko Roni Saputra’s family was tragically impoverished. The Indonesian superstar sought a way to lessen the burden of his parents and picked up wrestling through the advice of his father. This decision would change his life forever. In his newfound passion, Eko would go on to win national accolades and pull his family out of poverty, providing them with a life they never could have imagined.
