It wasn’t all smooth sailing for the BJJ extraordinaire Michelle Nicolini in her rise to becoming one of the greatest grapplers the world has ever seen. The Brazilian found her greatest passion while searching for a new challenge after many years practicing capoeira. Though Nicolini lost almost every bout she took part in, the BJJ hall-of-famer never gave up on her dream, putting in countless hours on the mat to become one of the most decorated practitioners of the sport. Now, in search of ONE gold, she steps into the ring for her greatest challenge to date against ONE atomweight queen Angela Lee on 12 July at ONE: MASTERS OF DESTINY in Kuala Lumpur.
