ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Title challenger Regian Eersel might have gone down a very different path had he not discovered kickboxing. Growing up in a neighborhood riddled with crime in the Netherlands, Eersel’s parents encouraged him to pick up martial arts. It was through the sport that he was saved from a life on the streets, as it instilled the values of respect and discipline within a young Eersel. The striking sensation went on to take the international scene by storm, and will now look to claim the greatest prize of his career when he takes on Dutch legend Nieky Holzken for ONE Super Series gold at ONE: ENTER THE DRAGON in Singapore.
