M-1 Challenge 78 event in Orenburg will be headlined by the fight for M-1 Lightweight Championship Belt between Max Divnich and Damir Ismagulov
Maxim Divnich (13-2) is a former M-1 Global Lightweight champion, who lost his title to Mansour Barnaoui in 2015. Having changed his training camp and overcome some serious challenges, this prominent fighter is ready for the main fight of his career by now. Maxim Divnich defeated Keon Caldwell in his most recent M-1 performance and as Abukar Yandiev announced his leaving from active MMA fighting for the moment, Divnich turned out to become one of the two most talked about fighters in M-1 lightweight division. Another possible title contender Artiom Damkovsky, will most likely come back in autumn to call out the current title holder.
Damir Ismagulov (8-2) is a surging MMA prospect from New Stream Team and Club Boets, Russia. He is a versatile fighter with an excellent stand-up and striking skills. Damir Ismagulov is currently leading a 5 fight winnning streak and is considered to be the next big name in Russian mixed martial arts. The long-anticipated title show opens a huge prospective for Damir, who will put maximum effort to stop Maxim Divnich for good.
