From the beginning of the contest, “The Silencer” was on the attack, landing a series of spinning back kicks to Bibiano Fernandes’ midsection. The Filipino hero’s grappling defense allowed him to escape submissions and overwhelm his rival on the feet. After five rounds of back-and-forth action during which every facet of mixed martial arts was on display, Belingon emerged with the victory.
