At just 23 years of age, Joshua Pacio has been through a roller coaster of emotions. The Filipino phenom reached the pinnacle of martial arts when he defeated ONE Strawweight World Champion Yoshitaka Naito, only to fall to another Japanese rival in Yosuke Saruta. But Pacio is no stranger to overcoming adversity. Obese and missing a father figure in his younger years, “The Passion” turned to martial arts to fill the void. He now aims to redeem himself in front of his fellow compatriots when he rematches Saruta at ONE: ROOTS OF HONOR in Manila.
