The continent of Africa has been a prominent player inside the IMMAF Fighting Area since the first-ever World Championships in 2014, with South Africa’s Amanda Lino securing World gold in Las Vegas before going on to win the Extreme Fighting Championship Bantamweight title.

Since then stars have been forged in the IMMAF Africa Championships such as BRAVE CF Stars Nkosi Ndebele and Eliezer Kubanza. Now boasting 19 federations across the African Confederation, the continent is set to forge a new path at the 2023 IMMAF Africa Championships in Angola, September 15-17.
