The UFC has been full steam ahead in promoting its growing women’s division, using TUF 18 to promote the division’s golden girl, Ronda Rousey, and her UFC 168 opponent, Miesha Tate. Now, the division continues to grow with recent signee, Aleksandra Albu, from Russia. Albu is currently 5-0 in MMA, with 4 first round KOs and is a former bodybuilder with a fighting background of Karate and Judo. Her looks obviously didn’t hurt her cause in moving up to the UFC. Ms. Rousey may have some serious competition.
