Master of brutal and entertaining knockouts Busurmankul Abdibait Uulu is very well-known among the fans in CIS area. Kyrgyz featherweight became famous thanks to his relentless attacking style and the skills necessary to make the real stand-up wars. He was the number one contender in M-1 Challenge featherweight division in fall of 2020 when the events were stopped. Now it’s a widely recognized superstar and world-level fighter. But his story in M-1 had quite rough start.

M-1 Challenge 83 event took place in Kazan, Russian, in 2017. Five days before this event Alexey Nevzorov injured his knee, so experienced Brazilian striker Diego Davela left without the opponent. Davela had a lot of titles in BJJ and luta livre, also he won in 18 of his 24 pro fights in MMA. Diego won against Zalimbeg Omarov in his M-1 debut.
Young Kyrgyz fighter Busurmankul Abdibait Uulu was the only man who accepted this tough fight on a very short notice. Burumankul had 8 victories by the finishes and lost only 3 times, all by the judge decisions.

It was a very intense face-to-face ceremony, the atmosphere was heated, so it was clear that this will be one hell of a fight.

Flattr this!
