Daniel Weichel is one of the strongest German mixed martial artists in the history of this sport. He became a real discovery at the M-1 Challenge tournaments, became the champion of the organization, after which he successfully performed for many years in Bellator, where he won the Grand Prix and repeatedly fought for the champion’s belt. Daniel was also always very friendly to our country and at fights in Russia he entered the ring with two flags at once – his native German and our tricolor. Today we will watch his fight against another highly respected veteran of mixed martial arts Artem Damkovsky, which took place at the M-1 Challenge 37 tournament in 2013, when they were at the peak of their powers.
