Born to a family of farmers, the Muay Thai legend quickly learned the value of hard work and perseverance from his parents as they battled their way through hardship to raise him. Sam-A was driven to provide his family with a better life and took the path less trodden to pursue Muay Thai as a means to drag them out of poverty. With his loved ones in his corner, the ONE flyweight Muay Thai king will now put his World Title on the line for the first time when he goes up against British phenom Jonathan Haggerty at ONE: FOR HONOR in Jakarta.
