Growing up, Demetrious Johnson was hugely inspired by his mother’s determination to provide for her children despite being deaf. Though the flyweight legend and his family also had to cope with an abusive stepfather growing up, Johnson learned to only look at the positives, shaping him to become a better family man and athlete. Taking a page out of his mother’s book, “Mighty Mouse” will look to continue inspiring his children and fans by getting his hand raised in the ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix semifinals at ONE: DAWN OF HEROES in Manila.
