July 22, 2017 – At M-1 Challenge 81: Battle in the Mountains event in Ingushetian Republic, Arman Ashimov, national, Eurasian and European K-1 champion first stepped into the “rage”. He was already the true star of Alash Pride promotion, but he wasn’t well-known outside of his homeland.

His opponent was undefeated Gadzhimurad Aliev, who won the regional MMA and pankration championships and won the silver medal at the world MMA cup. He won in all of his 6 pro fights, most of the victories by stoppages.

Everything was set for the classic high-level striker vs. wrestler/grappler battle.
