During a meeting between UFC, Keith Kizer from NSAC, Hendrick’s manager Ted Ehrhardt and GSP trainer Firas Zahabi the representative of GSP refused to do the NSAC approved WAVA testing due to not giving GSP a list of PED´s they would test for and the exact time they would test and how and when the tests would be transported.

GSP instead wants to the non neutral VADA testing with whom GSP has a relationship with. He will also do the testing with VADA for free. UFC is governed by a government agency that executes the law and regulates the sport of MMA. To mix in private companies like VADA with special who knows what agenda is wrong.

It specially makes GSP look very bad having had a black cloud over him for years with people thinking he’s on HGH (human growth hormone) or something similar. Many people have pointed to the HGH belly/gut that they say GSP possess. What we know from other sports is that if you are very rich you can hire the doctors who will dope you up in a legal and hard to detect way.

These are suspicions and until they are proven GSP is not guilty by any means. As Reporters we can only report on them. (Lawyers request to include this text). But refusing PED testing and asking questions about what they are going to test for sure doesn’t help your case.

So the question is: Is GSP the Armstrong of the MMA?

What do you think?
