Video with funny karate kid Vasily Kozlov had more than million views and mostly positive response of the viewers, but the fight of Alexander Emelianenko and huge karate man got a lot of comments with the questions where in this fight was the karate practitioner itself. Obviously, is easier to write such comment than to simply google the name of Jessie Gibbs to find out that he is three-time national and three-time European kyokushin champion.
So, we can say that these guys is the good company for Ingiskhan Ozdoev, who is math teacher and four-time world karate champion at the same time. But today itβs turn of the first karate practitioner who participated in M-1 events.
It was 15-time national and European full contact karate champion Ronny Rivano from Italy, who fought as the very first M-1 event, European no holds barred championship that took place in St.-Petersburg on October 1, 1997.
Ronny participated in four-men tournament in under 76 kg weight class, in the semifinal his opponent was kickboxer from St.-Petersburg Nikita Abramov. In the other semifinal Sergey Bychkov took on Rodney Faverus and it was an absolutely crazy and chaotic fight.
