Knockouts in the first seconds have happened and will happen in mixed martial arts tournaments. There have been many of them in the history of M-1 Global. Even when two experienced and tough fighters who have been preparing for a fight for months meet, no one is immune from the fact that the fight will not end in the first attack.
On November 17, 2018, the international tournament M-1 Challenge 99 Battle of Narts was held in the Republic of Ingushetia. The first to enter the rage was the strongest welterweight fighter in Finland at that time, Juho Valamaa. For him, this fight was supposed to be the third under the banner of M-1 Global. In total, the experienced Finnish athlete had 15 victories in 19 professional fights.
His opponent was the young twenty-year-old Georgian champion in mixed martial arts Amiran Gogoladze. He was one of M-1 Global’s brightest prospects, with a 6-7 record, a spectacular attacking style and a three-fight winning streak at M-1 Challenge tournaments.
