The most highly anticipated rematch of the year headlines UFC’s return to Los Angeles as current flyweight titleholder Joshua “The Fearless” Van squares off with longtime champion Alexandre “The Cannibal” Pantoja in the main event of Crypto.com UFC 331 on Saturday, September 19 at Crypto.com Arena. Van wrapped up a breakthrough year in 2025 with a quick win over Pantoja at UFC 323 when the Brazilian suffered an arm injury early in their championship clash, following it up with a fifth-round stoppage win over Tatsuro Taira earlier this year at UFC 328. The 36-year-old Pantoja lorded over the division for two-and-a-half year, with successful title defenses against Brandon Royval, Steve Erceg, Kai Asakura, and Kai Kara-France.
