Danil Vaganov is a lieutenant in the Typhoon special forces unit and a fighter for the Sich PRO club. He is a candidate master of sport in kickboxing, and in 2015, he began competing in professional MMA. He is a fighter in the Open Fighting Championship league and puts on a show in almost every fight. His current professional record stands at 9 wins in 15 fights.
A year ago, at the OFC 11 tournament, Danil faced the formidable striker and two-time MMA world champion Orkhan Veliyev. Veliyev has a professional mixed martial arts record of 6 knockouts out of 9, with only 2 losses.
