Asian and world champion in mixed martial arts Shavkat Rakhmonov made his debut in the professional arena as part of the M-1 Challenge 52 Battle of Narts tournament. Here is the very first fight of the phenomenon from Kazakhstan, at that time one of the most promising fighters in the entire post-Soviet space. Ahead of him was an undefeated career, the M-1 Challenge champion title and a contract with the UFC.

But on October 17, 2014, Shavkat was only 19 years old and he had his first official professional fight. The tournament was held in the Republic of Ingushetia, and he was up against the undefeated local prospect Adam Tsurov.
