In what may be the most ambitious event in combat sports history, the UFC will host a mixed martial arts card on the grounds of the White House on June 14, 2026, marking the first professional sporting event ever held at the presidential residence.

The announcement, made by President Donald Trump at a July 2025 rally and later confirmed by UFC CEO Dana White, will coincide with the 250th anniversary of the United States, transforming the historic celebration into a showcase for the world’s premier MMA organization.

“The White House fight alone will be madness,” White said at the UFC 323 post-fight press conference. “This is going to be one of the biggest events we’ve ever done.”

The event will be one of four major UFC cards to air on CBS as part of the promotion’s new broadcast deal with Paramount, bringing mixed martial arts to the widest possible audience.

Details regarding the fight card remain under wraps, but speculation has run rampant about which matchups might headline such a historic occasion. Championship bouts and superfights are expected to anchor what promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle.

The UFC’s journey from its controversial early days to headlining an event at the White House represents the sport’s complete mainstream acceptance. What was once banned in many states and dismissed as “human cockfighting” will now be celebrated on America’s most prestigious stage.

For MMA fans worldwide, June 14, 2026 is already circled on the calendar as a date that will live in combat sports history.
