December 8, 2012 – Promising 24-year old prospect Viktor Nemkov from Fedor’s team Alexander Nevsky OEMK took on Gadzhimurad Antigulov who represented Legion team (Rostov-on-Don) at M-1 Challenge 36 event in Mytishchi city.
In August of 2011 Gadzhimuradov Antigulov became the winner of eight-man tournament organized by Boets TV channel. Then he participated in M-1 Selection tournament where we won against European combat sambo champion Sergey Filimonov. Antigulov was recognized as one of the best grappling specialist in Russian LHW division in early 2010’s.
Viktor Nemkov, even though he was still very young at the moment, won many titles both in combat sambo and in professional MMA. He was vice-champion of M-1 Selection 2009 as the part of Red Devil team, Grand Prix S-70 champion and fought for M-1 Challenge title against ADCC champion Vinny Magalhaes (Brazilian won the fight in the third round). In case of the victory against Antigulov Viktor could get a chance to fight for the title again.
