Jonathan Haggerty turned in the performance of a lifetime to pull off a ONE Super Series shocker at ONE: FOR HONOR. Taking on Muay Thai legend Sam-A Gaiyanghadao, the British phenom used his downward elbows, rangy punches, and powerful push kicks to land early and often throughout the five-round affair, even scoring two knockdowns late in the contest. Though Sam-A rallied back with some significant strikes of his own, the judges agreed that “The General” had gotten the better of their back-and-forth thriller, and awarded Haggerty the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title via a unanimous decision victory.
